A few Sundays ago, I shared these 20 questions, which we can ask ourselves and our loved ones. When we ask questions—whether they’re serious or silly—we get to dig deeper. We find out things we never knew. We understand better. And we cultivate stronger bonds, whether it’s with ourselves or with someone else. Both are equally important.
You can explore these questions in your journal or talk about them with your best friend over coffee. And like I mentioned in the other post, you also can get creative with your responses—such as cutting out images and acting out your answers. Below are 20 additional questions you might like to consider. Be sure to follow up the questions you ask with “why?”
- What is your favorite holiday?
- What do you love creating?
- Where do you feel most at home?
- What did you think was true for a long time but you found out really wasn’t?
- What was your favorite game to play as a child?
- You have 2 hours to do whatever you like. What do you do?
- What food can’t you live without?
- What do you want the future you to know?
- What song always makes you want to dance?
- What would you really like to learn?
- What did you think you could never do but did?
- What would you like to understand about yourself?
- What do you do when you feel sad?
- What do you do when you feel happy?
- Where would you want to be stranded for a month?
- What do you have to have in your home?
- What delights you?
- What are you unsure about?
- What would you like to remember about today?
- What is your favorite question?
Happy Sunday! I hope it’s a good one!
